Ahhhhhh, you can't beat the Lobster Oil, i don't know what i'm going to do when they close......hehehehe, we walked out of here with 6 bottles of this goodness, at $25 / bottle, it was worth it.

this is their seafood platter for 2, at $18.50 per person, it's just okay, the mussels weren't the most fresh, surprisingly for a seafood restaurant. The ones we made at home earlier in the week was much better, i advise anyone, if you want shellfish, go to Lobster Man at Granville Island, you'll never be disappointed in their quality.

this is the grilled squid starter, it was very very good, so tender, yet so good. i recommend this to anyone.

A signature dish at the Cannery, their Salmon Wellington, i asked for a side of their lemon butter sauce in addition to the pinot......so yummy. the salmon was a bit dry, but understandably, very difficult to time. i love this dish and have had it many times in the last few years. i pdf'd their recipe from their web site for my own collection.

Grilled Halibut Cheeks, i think it was just okay.

Grilled Sockeye with spicy butter sauce. the best dish of the night, the sockeye was cooked perfectly, just past done inside, so it was so tender and juicy still.
Overall, it was a good meal. i'm sad to see them go, but i intend on returning before they shut down. service was good, but the surprising thing is that our server was a young man, he tood my order first, i'm a guy, i regret not telling him that he should be taking the orders of all the ladies first, then the guys, we had 5 females and 3 males at this meal. oh well, perhaps someone can remind him next time.
